I think Black Sails is such a relevant show to Pride not just for the importance, the complexity and the diversity of its queer characters but more importantly because the show has woven Shame into its narrative as such a significant theme. Which is what makes this show so important for so many people of the LGBTQ+ community and also such an important queer story to tell. -- source link
