kattestrophe:Alternativer Titel: Und es hat Suhm gemachtAnother comic from yours truly! And this time it’s not just one of my (not at all cheap) jokes, but an anecdote from Fritz’s time in Rheinsberg. His (romantic?) friend Suhm sent him a French translation of the works of German philosopher Wolff and Mimi, Fritz’s pet monkey, promptly set it on fire and celebrated watching it burn when Fritz left the room to eat. Suhm didn’t seem to be too mad about Mimi burning a copy of his work and writes to Fritz: “I find it extremely natural and extremely ingenious that this poor animal had tried to get rid of a paper that so often prevents her master from playing with her and enjoying her antics. It seems to me that in her place, even with all my reason, I could not have reasoned better, and I would have done the exact same thing.” (translation by Mildred, the very person who asked me to draw this :D) -- source link
