dietcrush:I feel like this post is trying to capitalize on the death of an innocent black woman, and it sits so wrongly with me. this was completely inappropriate, belittling the suffering of a woman of color to a single meme. black lives are being taken and this post offers nothing to the cause except for an easy way for people to be “in solidarity” without actually taking the movement seriously. it is things like these, I feel, that hurt the movement by making it seem one-dimensional and unimportant. -- source link
