Friday Night A Domestic Discipline Story “What time did you want us to come over again?” My coworker, Jessica, asks as she grabs her bags. I grab my bags as well and walk with her to the parking lot. “Maybe seven o’clock would be fine. My husband gets off work at five today anyway.” She stops and gives me a look. “Marks job is only five minutes away…” She smiles at me and I know exactly what she is thinking. “He’s not spanking me before you come over, Jess. We have other responsibilities, you know.” She puts both her hands up as if she’s just been caught. “Ok…ok.” Ever since I decided to tell her about my relationship, she doesn’t stop making small comments obviously alluding to him and I. One reason I prefer to just keep it secret. “I’ll see you later”, I can’t help but sound annoyed. I throw my bags in the back seat and head home. Traffic seems a bit heavy considering that it is only four o’clock. After roughly an hour of driving, I pull into the drive way. I look into our yard and see that our pots of flowers have fallen over and then I notice paw prints in the soil that was spilt. “God dammit, Rodney!” I march across the street to my neighbors house. He moved here not too long ago and now is the only person on this street that owns a dog. I ring his door bell and seconds later, a short man with a white robe on opens the door. “Hello, Mrs. Wilson. How are you doing today?” “Well I was doing just fine until your dog came into my yard and knocked over my plants, breaking both of my pots and spilling soil all over my front porch.” He looks at me a little surprised by the tone of my voice. “I’m sorry your plants were knocked over but it wasn’t my dog.” “It had to have been! There is only one dog on this street!” “Ma’am, I took my dog to the vet today. He isn’t here, so there is no way it could have been him.” He matches my tone and looks at me as if he has won an argument. I look down at my feet completely embarrassed of myself. “My apologies, Rodney. It must have been some one from another neighborhood.” I walk back into the house and shut the door behind me. What did I just do? Knowing that Mark and Rodney are very close friends, there is a slim chance this will go unnoticed with him. I look at the time: 5: 14 pm I still have to do the preparations for tonight. Since we are having company over, Mark likes for the house to be clean and to have food made for our guests. I vacuum the entire house, clean all the bathrooms, and clean up the living room. Once I finish I decide to change into a blue dress with white polka dots for our get together in less than an hour. It is already past six and Mark is not here yet. I look out the window to see if his car is in the driveway, but instead I see his car parked right in front of Rodney’s house. The two of them seem to be having a long conversation. I see Rodney look up and point over at our house and Mark looks over too. There it is. Mark says his goodbyes to Rodney and pulls into the driveway. Once he comes in he immediately calls for me. “Ranae!” He sounds angry with me, as expected. I follow the sound of his voice into the kitchen. He is sitting at the kitchen table and signals for me to sit too. “First, why is this kitchen a mess. There are dishes in the sink, the floor is dirty, the trash needs to be taken out…” “I was cleaning as fast as I can. There is a lot that needs to be done. Maybe if you could put forth some effort and help instead of having chatting with Rodney it could be done faster”, I say, completely annoyed at his reaction to the kitchen. “I got off work late today and had to be stopped by Rodney who informed me of your rude behavior towards him about your flower pots that were knocked over.” “…It was a misunderstanding.” He gives out a long sigh. “When you do things like this, your not just embarrassing yourself but me as well.” He scoots his chair away from the table. “Come here, Ranae.” He gently pulls me over his knee and begins to spank me. His thin, stinging hand comes down again and again, harder each time. I think back to earlier today when I told Jess I wouldn’t be getting spanked before they come over, but here I am over Marks knee. He pulls up my dress and I expect him to start up again even harder, but he doesn’t. “Where are your panties?” I just lay there over his knee unresponsive. I don’t know what to tell him other than the fact that I was rushing but that wouldn’t seem like a good enough excuse for him. “Get up”, he says in a stern voice. He grabs my arm and leads me to the living room. “Bend over the couch.” Once I bend over I head him taking off his belt, a sound that is all too familiar. I close my eyes and prepare for the first swat. He brings the belt down hard, covering both cheeks. I feel a welt form on my butt. He gives the next swat and goes into a rhythm, hitting my left cheek and then both in that order. Mark always gives me no more than fifty with his belt, but he hits much harder depending on how serious it is. I guess this is more serious than I thought. Once he gives me the fiftieth swat he puts his belt back on and instructs me to get up. Without thinking I begin to pull my dress down but he stops me. “Leave your dress up for now.” Confused, I leave my dress up and follow him back to the kitchen. “I want you to clean up all of these dishes, and when you’re done, you can pull your dress down. Do you understand?” I nod shyly at him. He quickly grabs my arm and gives me five hard smack with his bare hand. “Do you understand?” “Yes sir!” There is a big mountain of dishes in the sink and I have only four minutes before it’s seven o’clock. I feel a mix of embarrassment and excitement go through my body. I am not sure if this is for my own punishment or his amusement. I wash the dishes as fast as I can without breaking them. To my absolute surprise, one minute before seven, the doorbell rings! Fuck. I contemplate if I should pull my dress down and deal with the consequences later or risk my coworker and her husband seeing me with my dress pulled up and bare butt showing. I hear the door open and Mark happily greets them. Jessica’s voice slowly gets louder and louder as they make their way further into the house. I throw the rest of the dishes in the dish rack and pull my dress down a second before Jessica makes her way into the kitchen with two bottles of wine. “You’re so early!” I try to sound excited about her arrival. Mark comes into the kitchen with Pete, Jessica’s husband, and eyeballs the sink. “So, Ranae.
