These ultra-rare Australian flowers are a sign of recovery after fires. In 2019/2020, Australia experienced a devastating summer of widespread bushfires. Many areas are still recovering, and will be for years to come. But pink flannel flowers (Actinotus forsythii) need fire - followed by rain - and lots of time to sprout.
