The unchanging part — yuki-onna is a tall otherworldly beauty with snow-white features and can be spotted in snowy regions or during blizzards.In many stories, yuki-onna poses as a dangerous and capricious force of nature: she steals children in snowstorms, makes travelers freeze from exposure by interacting with her, lose their tracks or get frostbites. Though heat and hot water can save a person, as it makes her evaporate and vanish.Sometimes, however, yuki-onna marries and lives with humans happily.
