I walk past No. 24 Queen Square every day and it’s probably my favourite building in the square. Incredible to think that the original late 18th century building was demolished in the 1930s to allow for the construction of a dual carriage way which bisected the square. Thankfully sense was seen and the Square was fully restored to its former glory. (at Queen Square, Bristol) -- source link
