bookswritinghappiness: JOMP BOOK PHOTO CHALLENGE | JUNE 13, 2020: REPRESENTATION MATTERS Over the last couple weeks or so, I’ve seen a bunch of authors (especially the incredible Nic Stone) write and talk about how it is just as important to read books about black people just being people as it is to read books that focus on racism and police brutality. Opposite of Always by Justin A. Reynolds is one that I’ve seen recommended a lot, and with blurbs from Becky Albertalli and Angie Thomas, it’s definitely for good reason. I got my copy last summer at EpicReads Day where I also got to meet Justin A. Reynolds, and I’m looking forward to reading it this summer : ) PS: I absolutely love the way he signed this!! -- source link
