I see pictures like this all the time, and I always, always love them because of how vulnerable they are. I know I use the word vulnerable a lot, so that should hint to you that it means something to me. What stood out specifically in this picture though is the torn stockings, whether they’re a symbol of wrath or pain or just the disorder of her life. I think they add more than bare legs ever could have to this photo. -- source link
