bowelfly:Pill millipede (Glomeris marginata maybe?)Cerro Kilambé Natural Reserve, Nicaragua EDIT talked to my millipede friend Animalparty and he IDed it to the family Oniscodesmidae. every time this post starts going around i wish i had given it a more informative caption because a ton of people always get confused and think it’s an isopod/woodlouse/rolly polly/etc. you can tell it’s a millipede and not an isopod both by the total number of legs and by the number of legs on each segment; isopods have 7 pairs of legs, 1 per segment, while millipedes generally have many more than that and 2 pairs per segment. -- source link
