k-lee1993: sandybrown121:k-lee1993:I suppose we all have humiliating moments to look forward to. As I grow more involved in a relationship with a guy, I suspect my Mother will remind me of the days I insisted I was only attracted to girls while she encouraged me to be “open-minded” with boys. I’m sure my anti-guy comments will come back to haunt me. Another fascinating comment from you, Kaylee. So not only did your mother encourage to dress as a girl, but she wanted to see you with boys. I know you always give your mom the benefit of the doubt regarding her motives, but what do you think made her want to push you towards boys? I don’t know, Sandy, she (or her therapist) could probably best answer that. I always assumed she wasn’t pushing me in that direction but suggesting different possibilities in my life. I’m sure I dismissed the idea pretty quickly as a teenager. It’s funny how the idea didn’t seem so bad a few years later. -- source link
