gillygeewhiz: gillygeewhiz: I just made this for my own reference, but I figure it’s a useful thing to share. Spreadsheet to organize all of the peer-reviewed scientific articles about neurological gender identity and transgenderism I’ve collected so far, including their abstracts and links and maybe some personal comments about their usefulness. Hopefully it’s a little easier to deal with and pick out what’s relevant than a contextless wall of PubMed links. Scholarly sources on transgenderism spreadsheet. Updated for the first time in a while. Didn’t add much in the way of articles, but it should be a little neater and less clunky now, and I fixed a lot of stuff that was out of date. Hyperlinks actually work! Wow! All paywalled articles now have links to the full text through sci-hub so they can be read in their entirety. Impact Factor data for all journals is updated to 2018 or later, and a journal that changed its name recently is now listed correctly. Citation numbers & Altmetric scores for all articles are current as of July 2020. Altmetric scores now link directly to the Altmetric page for each article, which will list whatever news articles, Twitter posts, Youtube videos, etc. reference it. [Example] I’m mostly excited about the Altmetric & sci-hub links. There are now only 2 (out of ~80) articles listed that don’t have the full text immediately available for whoever wants to read them, and the context given by Altmetric can drastically reduce the amount of scientific literacy necessary to understand a lot of the research. -- source link
