Timberline Trail | Day 1 | 08.23.19 The first day of the Timberline Trail left me in awe of Mt. Hood. It seemed like a different view of the mountain presented itself around each corner. I hiked 22 miles my first day, knowing that I only had two days to complete the 41 mile hike. I wanted to push myself a little more for my weekend hike to see if I was ready for my upcoming hike of the wonderland trail. By then end of the day, I was ready for sleep, and I had a lovely spot to cowboy camp, with nice tree cover and a little breeze to keep away the mosquitos.
