It’s 2150 and Switzerland’s Hadron Collider has torn a hole through space and time, with Hellspawn pouring through the opening. As the only survivor, you enter the locked down facility to correct yet another scientific fuck-up. ConC.E.R.Ned follows the same themes as the original Doom but it quickly accelerates toward more difficult, slaughter-based gameplay, peaking in the final map. Things run a bit simpler with the limited bestiary so the player is put under more pressure to compensate but there are plenty of non-slaughter encounters to sink your teeth into.
