oddarette: Rainbow Fungipedia1. Glitter Morel - If you shake it, glitter falls out. Tastes like a normal morel.2. Unicorn Tails - This mushroom grows on logs and can last for hundreds of years. Unlike the unicorn, they are very easy to find. Has a texture of fruit leather. The older ones are hard as a rock. 3. Amanita Multicolora - This cute mushroom is covered with a splatter of iridescent speckles. Not a mushroom I’d recommend eating, unless you are a fairy. Tastes like rotten turnips. May cause you to hear the trees. They’ll probably tell you that you shouldn’t have eaten that mushroom. 4. Rainbolete - a rare find in the cloud forests. Texture is that of fresh marshmallows. Flavors range from mildly lemony to grapey. Can be eaten raw but some prefer to dry them out and eat them as candy. 5. Fancy Trumpet - If you squeeze this mushroom really hard it will make a tiny trumpet sound. Really chewy, tastes like crab. 6. LBM’s or Little Blue Mushrooms - Nothing particularly special about these mushrooms. They’re everywhere. Some might be delicious. Some might make you vomit rainbows. 7. Prism Puffballs - The toughest mushrooms you can find. You mine as well be eating a jawbreaker, with less flavor. 8. Shimmer Stems - When paired with Glitter Morels, you will have yourself a very sparkly meal.9. Hidden Hues - A cute unassuming mushroom until you flip the cap over to see a kaleidoscope of colors. This mushroom tastes like pure sugar. Highly sought after. 10. Color Caps - These little mushrooms come in a variety of different colors, each with its own flavor. They are often used for dyes. -- source link
