I was recently commissioned by Northern Tier Regional Library to create a simple trio of icons for their Children’s Story Time programs. Since the programs are grouped by age, I wanted something that would subtly show a theme of development so I went with a caterpillar, chrysalis (which is as inaccurate as you can get but was requested by the client to be made “cute” and understandable for the sake of visual continuity), and butterfly. -- source link
