khentkawes:imbuckysbitch:buckyrhodey:Tony + ‘threatening’ his kids(anti-Tonys, stay on your fucking lane, this post isn’t for you)Bonus:I love this comparison, and it also highlights one of the things I loved about Endgame…we see Tony Stark as a dad and he is an absolute sweetheart with Morgan–but he is still the snarky, sarcastic Tony we have always loved. So often, movies/TV act like people have to leave behind everything about their “single self” and become a new person in order to be a parent; as if, in order to become a parent, they have to leave behind who they were to become “the mom” or “the dad” and that new identity defines them and takes over their personality. Not Tony. He’s a fantastic dad; his role as Morgan’s dad is clearly the most important part of his life. But he’s still Tony, still sassing his biological and robotic kids, still sarcastic and a lovable dork, still a brilliant inventor with the word “shit” on the tip of his tongue, still gives people silly nicknames…he’s still Tony. Dad-Tony is amazing because he is still so obviously Tony, just thriving in a new role that we always knew he was capable of (even when he thought he wasn’t). -- source link
