Sour Cream Sprinkle Cake Ingredients: 1 box white cake mix 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup granulated sugar ¾ tsp salt 1 1/3 cup water 1/8 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream 4 large egg whites ¼ tsp Wilton gel food colouring ½ cup multicoloured jimmies Instructions: Preheat oven to 325˚ Grease cake pans and line with parchment. Place all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk together. Add the remaining ingredients and beat on a low speed for 2 minutes until smooth. Remove 3 cups of batter and tint with the food colouring. Add the sprinkles to the dyed batter and fold gently to combine. Pour batter in pans, alternating the batters. Pull a skewer through the batter to create a swirl. Bake cake for 40-50 minutes, or until cake springs back when pressed in the middle. -- source link
