As requested by @appynation! I promised to do this ages ago and could never get a good picture that I liked enough until now! (I’m so so sorry it’s so late! T^T)Keep in mind though, a tutorial can only do so much though. Colouring requires practice so don’t get disheartened if it doesn’t look good the first time, keep at it~!if anyone has any questions, don’t be afraid to message me~ Text version under read more so you can translate it if you need to :) Crumpets Hair Colouring Tutorial!Tips: - Research how colours work- Decide on the light direction before starting1. Base ColourFill in the base with the colour of your choice 2. ShadingI use a solid line tool that tapers off to a point. (It’s an airbrush tool)3. Extra Detail You don’t have to do this step but I feel adding extra hair flicks without black lines looks nice >^3^> (Usually the same colour as stage 2)4. Darker ShadingUse this colour on the tips and where the hair strands overlap. This creates depth.5. HighlightsI tend to put these on the opposite side of the shading6. More HighlightsI add these just to make the colours “pop”. I rarely use white for this, just go for a lighter version of the previous highlight -- source link
