Wonderland Trail | Day 2 | 9.5.19 North Puyallup Camp to Mowich Lake | 14.7 miles Packing up camp around seven, I got my oatmeal starting to cold soak and began my morning hike. Climbing through the old growth forest, each climbed seemed steeped than the last. The morning stretched on as the weather began to warm up. I would climb up one ridge line before descending down the other side and starting that process over again, up and then back down, with not much flat spots on this hike. Eventually, I crossed a stream bed, over a couple log bridges and made my last climb for the day, where I ended at Mowich Lake around 5 that evening. I pitched my tarp and began getting my dinner ready as I sat around camp and talked with my fellow hikers.
