rox712: A new set of stamps is being issued to celebrate Sherlock Holmes, featuring images from the award-winning BBC TV series and other stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Six stamps will show characters from Sherlock, with Benedict Cumberbatch in his role as the title detective, Martin Freeman as the trusty Dr Watson and Amanda Abbington as Mary Watson. And of course, Andrew Scott will feature too after his career-defining star turn as Jim Moriarty while another stamp will display Mark Gatiss as Mycroft Holmes.
