This summer, I went on a motorcycle trip around Sweden and through Norway. Around Hede, I found most of the raw materials used in this jacket. I wanted to make something that nodded to Scandinavian tradition, but done my own way. Fast forward a few months, and I’ve found myself back here, sewing the jacket in the night light of the cabin in Sweden, with warmth floating around from the old wood stove in the corner. In the earlier hours of the morning, while the forest was still white from the frost, this photograph was taken.
