I’m just gonna post this and then go back into hiding behind my 17 pounds of homework. This is my submission for the costume contest over at @plusadventure! I didn’t even know about the contest, much less the project in general, until like two days ago. Hopefully, I’m not late! I wasn’t sure if “midnight of 10/21″ meant 11:59 PM of 10/21 or 12:00 AM of 10/21. I’m hoping you guys meant the former of the two, because if not, then this submission is definitely super late, ahaha! I really like Lolita fashion. I think it’s super adorable, so I decided to put Uraraka in her own coord! I’m not entirely sure what kind of lolita fashion this falls under, since I was sticking pretty closely to colors and elements from both her hero outfit and that formal dress she wore in the movie. I guess it’s kind of a mix of Sweet and Classic Lolita, maybe? (I sure hope it doesn’t fall under Ita)The ruffles and lace can probs be fake rendered in the texture map, but I hope the hair accessory isn’t too hard to model. With how low-poly the models are, you guys could probably get away with just cheating it with three spheres, clever texturing, and then just putting the pearl parts in the texture map for the hair. Or you could replace the roses with a cute bow(s). This project is super cool and I can’t wait to see what comes out of it! If any of you out there haven’t heard of it, the cool peeps over at @plusadventure are making a BNHA Fantasy RPG! Go check it out, they have a demo! :D -- source link
