And it truly is, eye-catching. Watching the ice scattering chaotically under the surface until it crystallises, a perfect sphere of holographic glass. Still fragile, but it lasts a little while—indefinitely, if you can keep it stable with magic. I… I never could, not for long. My nature would inevitably switch, and… I tried, for a while, to fake it with illusions, but they saw through that pretty quick… Still, you can hold it for a while in a way you couldn’t before, that thin, crystalline layer holding it together for a time. But, inevitably, the ice begins to melt, the walls break down — faster, from the warmth of a hand — and then… it’s gone.
