Smoothing hair back from his face and curling it around his ear. It’s steady and soothing. Comforting in a way that Keith doesn’t usually let himself indulge in. As he slowly surfaces to consciousness, he realizes that he’s no longer laying on a firm chest, but rather that he’s curled forward around… legs? The fabric beneath his cheek is a little rough. Denim? There’s a large body behind him, each breath pushing a rib cage against his back, accompanied by soft snores. That he definitely recognizes as Kosmo. But his dog… wasn’t in the bed earlier?There’s also a soft humming, casual and low. Absent-minded, like the person doesn’t realize they’re doing it at all. Keith blinks open blearing eyes, waiting for them to focus before tilting his head back. It’s the guy from before, but he’s expected this time. What’s not expected, however, is the fact that he’s fully dressed, sitting back against the headboard of Keith’s bed, Keith’s head in his lap, idly scrolling through his phone. At Keith’s movement, his blue gaze drift away from the phone in his hand. A smile curls at his lips as their eyes meet. “Morning, beautiful,” he says, a chuckle in his voice. It’s less raspy than it was before. Far more composed. “Again.”“Morning…” Keith grumbles. He squints up at the man, eyes flickering around his grinning, handsome face. He definitely remembers him from the bar, but— “Um…”“You don’t remember my name, do you?” But instead of sounded offended or disappointed, that shit eating grin only widens. Keith scowls, lips pursing into a frown and definitely not a pout. “I do,” he insists, lifting a hand to rub his eyes. “Just… give me a moment.”A fitted shirt stretched across broad shoulders. Faded jeans that mold to a sculpted ass and legs that go on for days. A cocky smile and a bright laugh that draws his attention from across the bar. Sparkling blue eyes, alight with mischief and dark with desire. A tongue sharp with quips. Bold hands unafraid to roam. The taste of tequila and blue curacao—“Lance,” he says, hand falling absenting to the thigh beneath his head.
