How many fellow #booknerds are out there? ⠀ ⠀ This is a note to 9 year old me. In 1999. 10 years later, I would get my passport stamped for the first time. I would move to England. I would backpack through Europe. I would then go on to have to spend most of my adult life traveling for music across the US on open roads that hugged both eastern and western coastlines and everywhere in between and I would learn a whole lot of airport codes. ⠀ But back then, I didn’t know any of that. Back then, I stood under fluorescent lights on greyish green carpet in front of metal shelves in a small town with nothing more than a big imagination a library card and endless rows of colorful books with colorful stories that I’d carry with me for years. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ I would learn so many things thanks to my purple Nancy Guinn Library Card.
