For the past week I’ve been on the road, traveling around Vancouver Island exploring some gorgeous parks and nature. This was the first year that I focused on simply enjoying life instead of celebrating Christmas and New Years. There was no stress, expectations, or commercialism and I have to say that I absolutely loved it! After a lifetime of participating in all of the hectic commercial holidays I’ve come to realize that I’m much happier having a minimalist approach to celebrating.
