a-blog-by-any-other-name:lizziethereader: Weekly Bookish Question #282 (April 24th - April 30th): We’re a quarter of the way through 2022 - what have been your favorite reads so far? A Natural History of Dragons (Lady Trent) - a brillant fake autobiography of a natural historian in a pseudo Victorian era where the main difference between the true Victorian era and this one is that dragons exist. The “author” of this book is the world leading dragon natural historian - a brillant read that I cannot recommend highly enough The Thousand Deaths of Ardor Benn - a wonderful heist book with great humour, well executed plot twist, found family, and dragons - what more can you want?A Deadly Education - had one of the best protagonist I have ever met. Set in a dark academia style Hogwarts, the writing was fantastic and hilarious - another brilliant book by Naomi Novik!A Psalm of the Wild Built - I read this thanks to Lizzie’s recommendation and it was fantastic! A wonderfully light philosophical novel - can’t wait to check out the other books by Becky Chambers Nice, sounds like you’ve been getting some good reading done! The Thousand Deaths of Ardor Benn sounds really intriguingYay for A Psalm for the Wild-Built! Such a lovely read :) Definitely let me know if you pick up any of Becky Chambers’ other books (I love the ones I’ve read and am always up for talking about them) -- source link
