It’s My Little Monday!With…G1 Pony Cascade!Here’s another less-common sight. Pretty and peaceful Cascade was a Europe exclusive pony. Their WaterFall Playset didn’t come with Sprinkles, it came with this pony instead. The playset was also green for the ‘ground’ instead of white. The original was meant to look like “a waterfall in the clouds” with a happy sun and rainbow. The Cascade Waterfall though, was meant to look like it was in the treetops or on green hills, but with the same cloud/rainbow/sun for the sort of backdrop. Cascade makes sense with the more ‘grounded’ playset instead of pegasus pony Sprinkles. (Her color also matched it a little more) She’s very classic looking somehow, with her simple colors and pretty waterfalls pattern. Her eyes are indeed purple, which is an interesting choice given her middle-green hair and yellow body. (But somehow it seems fitting instead of clashing?) It’s too bad, but she’s uncommon and costly now.Most playset ponies are, because they weren’t sold separately, and were thus more expensive (by quite a bit) upon release. This one was an Xmas gift, and had been on the wants-list for quite some time. She’s very calming and pretty in person…an excellent example of a very classic pony design. -- source link
