Seattle, WA– Stayed with Roxy (1) and Erik (should have gotten a photo of the two of you!), friends that moved from DC, for my whole Seattle visit. What a great view they had from their apartment and a really nice quaint Seattle abode. The first night was Roxy’s birthday and Erik was kind enough to take us to the best skyline view in town (2). The very next day, I got to say hello to a dear old friend of mine, Nicole (3), who was an exchange student with me in Denmark and a dear friend. We spent a whole afternoon catching up on six years of living with a great view to boot (4). Got to see my dearest and only sister Elena (5) over at the Pike Place Market. Got to meet her boyfriend and I’m proud to say that he survived the encounter, but I did not get his photograph. So there’s a photo of the Space Needle (6) instead. Before I left, I met Susanna (7) for breakfast, one of the new friends I made on this trip when camping at White Sands, NM. Turns out she and her boyfriend might be moving to NYC. Always glad to have new friends in THE city. (9) - Space Needle through a telescope. (10) - Farewell Seattle. In Boise, ID now with family for the Fourth. Will post some photos and video of the two-days ride over. Until then, cheers! -- source link
