An anonymous caller reportedly reached out to officials with The #Children’s Home in Amarillo early #Wednesday morning and told the staff to go outside and take a look at their #beautiful #Nativity scene. A receptionist did a little digging and ended up finding a nice surprise hidden underneath the #baby #Jesus doll inside the manger. When the receptionist picked up the baby Jesus, there was an envelope waiting for The Children’s Home—with a $50,000 check inside! Although the extremely generous donor does wish to remain anonymous, Group #President Darrin Murphy says staffers have already called him to thank him for what he’s done. The Children’s Home has always been a well-known safe space for at-risk kids and teenagers to stay whenever they need a helping hand. The mysterious #donor told officials that he’s seen the good work The Children’s Home does for the community each and every day, and the organization has inspired him to be a better person.
