xianvar:pherryt:I have to share this because I think it’s funny So, my keyboard is broken (again. This time the E keeps falling OFF) and while I was writing this, I was also sufferings a really bad headache while fighting the keyboard. Which means, at some point, I was typing with my eyes closed. It *helps* when I have a headache, sometimes, and I’m a touch typist. It works.Except, I do make sure to open my eyes every now and again, check over for basic typos, correct and move on. Only this time when I did, I was faced with gobbledygook that I was then forced to Cryptogram my way back out of.Basically, when fighting with that Key and popping it back into place every few finger strokes, my left hand never rehomed in the proper location. So everything typed on my left hand was one row off. Everything typed with my right was perfectly fine. There was at least one actual typo in there,But at least I remembered what I was trying to say even if I couldn’t remember my exact wording. Once I realized all that, it was pretty easy to translate. But it DOES look like an AWFUL mess, don’t it?…Y’know, thinking about it, it was actually easier to decipher that than my handwriting (I literally have such messy writing that I have stumped MYSELF so badly that not even context clues help me figure out what the fuck word I used there) earlier I started typing and my right hand was one key off (not row but column-wise) and it made me laugh quite a bit and think of your cryptogram :D hehehe, I guess it’s just a universal writer thing, lol.Glad I could bring some amusement - also, I’m currently wondering about how good my spell checker is, because a lot of that gobbledygook has NOT been flagged.Or maybe I just broke it ? Word just threw it’s hands up in the air and said “I don’t even fucking know anymore. Do whatever the fuck you want.”Except, you know, without the word “Fuck” because that might be offensive to my readers I’m still boggling my mind at that one. -- source link
