It’s about my limeblood, Chauve Souris, discovering her ancestors lusus on accident. Having been smuggled out of the caverns, Chauve never got a lusus. Her ancestors lusus, this giant bat dragon, has been hiding out in a cave with a colony of other bat lusii - as creatures with memory alteration powers, they’ve made the public forget they even exist - allowing them to live under the empires nose. In this piece the lusus is transferring its memories to Chauve - of her ancestor, limeblood history, and most importantly - how to use her powers. -- source link
