outofcontextarthur: Bailey and Muffy’s choice of words…and Muffy spoke as if she actually understood what the cat (offscreen) was saying. Can the characters tell what other animals are saying as they are animals themselves???? submitted by whippedcloudsofcream I think Muffy might have mistaken the cat’s growling for Bailey groaning in despair. It is interesting to note that later on, Muffy gives verbal commands to the cat and the cat immediately complies. Could she be a cat whisperer and not know it? -- source link
