The interview was going well… I thought. The Superintendent asked me personally to apply for the new Administrative position on her staff, and she continued to smile at each question I answered. Smiling and nodding. Keeping her eyes on mine. Her strong eyes looking inside me. Talking about the need for obedience among her staff members. The pleasure that came from that obedience. As she’d repeat those words, I found myself nodding in agreement. So much nodding. Maybe it was making me a bit sleepy? I wasn’t sure, but she suggested we take a break, and I could use the restroom if needed.She had the same smile on her face when I returned. Smiling and nodding. “Very good, Julia. I’m sure you are ready to continue. Ready to review the pleasure that stems from your obedience. Aren’t you?”I hadn’t even sat back down yet, but knew what was expected of me.
