It’s that time again—Target First Saturday, when the museum is free and open late with live music interactive activities for all ages. There’s so much to do—here’s just a few highlights! Curator Lisa Small will give a talk on the exhibition Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe. Even sneaker-wearers will get excited about heels after hearing the inside scoop on how this fabulous show came together. Speaking of fabulous, dapperq is turning our Beaux Arts court into a runway showcasing menswear for women and trans-identified individuals. There will also be pop-up shops and drinks. If you’d rather kick back and take in a film, we’ve got two: Alternate Endings and God Save My Shoes. There’s fun for the kids too—come play dress-up while Aunt Helen spins a tale of global adventure. All events are free, but space is limited— check out http://bit.ly/bkmfirstsaturday for times and ticketing information about #targetfirstsaturday. Posted by Sam Kelly -- source link
