Fuente: sspxsWhat is happening in Peru?On the night of the 9th of November elected president of Peru Martin Vizcarra was forcibly removed from his position by the congress under excuses of “mental incapacity” only five months to go before new electionsVizcarra was trying to conduct various investigations regarding corruption in the congress, and although he was accused of some too he never tried to stop the investigations nor did he put up resistance to them.Through unfounded accusations and lack of evidence the congress violated the laws that dictaminate how the process of taking away a president goes in the constitution, all this taking into account that 68 out of the 130 congresspeople are under accusations of crimes going from money laundering to murder. Most of the political parties used force by voting to put Peru in the edge of the abyss, only to feed onto their power hungry agendas. Now there is a de facto government being ruled over by the congress president, Manuel Merino. Not a single country has recognized him as the rightful president yet.In the middle of a harsh pandemic, full of unemployment and economic recession, we are preparing ourselves for even harsher times. Besides there is no power balance between the executive and legislative powers, and this could mean serious backtracking in advancements regarding the justice system, education, and the political system.Peruvians are furious at a government that is endangering the people only to act on their own benefits, Peruvian do not recognize Manuel Merino as the rightful president. We will keep on exercising our rights to protest to take away an illegitimate government, and to defend our country from a party of corrupt people that has overtaken power. How you can help:Share this and other posts with the hashtags: #merinonoesmipresidente, #golpedeestadoenperuTalking about this crisis with othersJoin protests with social distancing if you can -- source link
