italianartsociety:Giusto di Giovanni de’ Menabuoi died on this day in 1390, according to a tomb inscription in Padua Baptistery, which he decorated with frescoes starting in 1375. Though born in Florence, all of his known works are from northern Italy. Similar in style to the great Florentine master Giotto, Giusto may have trained with one of his students Bernardo Daddi or Maso di Banco.Reference: John Richards. “Menabuoi, Giusto de’.” Grove Art Online.
