Before and AfterLast week, I noted the eruption of Tavurvur volcano, one of the smaller cones at the edge of the Rabaul Caldera (http://tinyurl.com/kwvcu3a). That eruption sent a plume of ash into the air where it was able to be pushed around by the prevailing winds.
