There’s something magical about reading a great book at the perfect time and HOO BOY did I read SOMETHING NEW by Lucy Knisley at the exact right time in my life. Wedding planning is such an emotional whirlwind and even though I obviously can’t relate to EVERY component of someone else’s wedding, I had such a raw and real reaction to this reading experience. My own wedding comic project will be very different, but I’m so happy I got to read this before I finished. Lucy is amazing.
