Story Blurb by ReallityRabbitThe Rescue Rangers had finally fallen to their oldest and most persistent foe, Fat Cat. Countless defeats at their hands had not left the crime lord in a particularly merciful mood after he’d finally gotten his hands on the team. And those losses had taught Fat Cat much. Each member of the team had been separated. Chip, Dale, Monterey, and Zipper had been sent to different operation to work with the rest of those enslaved to act as cheap labour. But the felonious feline had something special planned for Gadget.Knowing that her technical expertise had been the reason behind the Rescue Ranger’s success more than any other part of the team, Fat Cat was determined to remove the mechanically adept mouse as a threat to his empire but unwilling to waste a valuable hostage by simply killing her. So he decided that it was better to put her to work like the others. For weeks upon weeks Gadget was subjected to intense psychological and physical conditioning. Speakers in her private cell pumped a constant stream of reminders about how disobedience would not see her punished, but would instead make her friends suffer. Hypnotics and other mind control methods that Fat Cat had pilfered, perfected, or produced himself were used to reinforce feelings of obedience and submission in the mouse. Hands on training in the new profession she’d undertake while part of Fat Cat’s empire shattered what innocence remained in the formerly virgin hero.Three months later, Gadget worked the streets as one of Fat Cat’s Street Rangers. It was a mockery of the group she had once belonged to and acted as a visible reminder of the consequences that came with defying the crime lord. Tammy the Squirrel and Foxglove the Bat would join her and together work the streets of the city Gadget had once protected from so many foes. Now many of them enjoyed hiring and working out their frustrations upon the fallen heroines, especially Gadget. At first she put on a smile and faked her way through each client. But time passed. Each day the mask she put on in the mornings became easier to adopt. Gadget felt as if she was losing who she’d been and prayed that her friends would rescue her from this nightmare. Though…maybe, after that, she could still work the street corners. Once in awhile. For old times sake.It wasn’t that bad… -- source link
