Got Windblade today.Pro:Gorgeous robot formBeautiful head moldInteresting gimmicks: removable “hair comb” and movable rotersReally cool gradient transparent purple sowrdWings articulation allows you to move the wings in robot mode thus makes the toy more “expressive”In-between:Pose-ability not bad but restricted by heels too short. The wings made it’s weight center heavily lean backward but the very thin heels are not long enough to make a more “tip toes” stance so that the body weight center can be forwarded. You really need to be patient to play with the joints of the wings and legs to balance Windblade otherwise she’ll look a bit hunch backed.Cons:Really thin and thus weak joints. You really need to be very careful otherwise the plastic might breaks (it doesn’t look very strong). Long term playing will definitely cause joint weakening and loosening problem.Extremely disappointing alt-mode. It is lose, as if Windblade is gonna disintegrate in mid-air at any second. The lack of proper clips and clamps makes holding the already thin and loose-y parts difficult and frustrating. The play-ability of alt-mode is near to nothing because it can’t held itself together. Even worse, the space between afterburners is literally empty. As if this is not enough, there are no spaces to even partially hide her hands, they just… hand there. I am very disappointing at the design of the alt-mode as a toy collector. The toy would be a huge set back if it is not Windblade, to be honest.Overall: if you like Windblade and just want a figure of her to play with, then go ahead. Her human form looks great and will give you quite some fun. If you are toy collector, the first fan made bot title still makes it a worthy collection, but keep in mind that it is not a very satisfying toy in transforming design. -- source link
