I have the day off from my day job, so I’m working on some stuff today. The off and on rain is keeping me inside a good part of the time, so I’m working on some new cigar box lamps. This is the first one I finished up. I originally planned to do this one as wall mount, but ended up going with a desktop style instead. Mostly I wanted to make sure that I built something out of it that didn’t cover up the “Warlock” on the top of the box. This is the first one I made with parts I started collecting a couple months ago: exhaust collar & antique brass doorknob plate. I’ll be posting more of these as I finish them up. Later today I’ll put them on my website and/or Etsy for anybody interested in buying them. -- source link
