Bronze age fantasy barbarian by ArtigasToday’s piece was brought to you by a generous gentlemen that prefers to remain anonimous.He asked me to create a “Bronze age Conan with Hellenic armour and some viking vibes threw in”. What a lovely bunch of words to put together.His axe is reminiscent of both the Dane axe and the Labrys, his sword is an oversized Xiphos and his dagger was based on the beautiful Mycenaean surviving artefacts.His bracers were based on ancient pugilist’s Cestus and he wears a necklace of glass beads, lapis lazuli, lion claws and gold coins.My client asked me to emphasise the character’s physicality so I went full Conan on it I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did creating this piece.Cheers -- source link
