kaiyonohime: Roughly blocked out, the ends held in place with tape, but this is what it will mostly look like when done. I still have to do a shit ton of stitching, two rib anchors on each rib and the tip, but I needed to see how well it would block out to get started.Given how many problems the end tips are having staying in place, a lace cover isn’t the same at holding tension as a fabric cover, I may end up gluing them in place. As it’s a parasol glue should work as it won’t be exposed to rough weather or rain.But it’s coming along nicely. I’d say another two weeks until I’m done, just in time to view the cherry blossoms! -- source link
