OP was not saying “Don’t be proud of who you are if you are white!”, it’s saying “Be proud of your HERITAGE, not just ‘being white’.”You are fortunate enough to have your heritage. Enjoy it. Revel in it. Many, if not most black people in America specifically don’t know their exact heritage. Let them be proud in what they do know. Let them have what brings them together. I know that my family is French/Irish/English. I don’t need ‘white pride’. I have specifics. They don’t.Let them have their black pride.
