I am my worst critic. I printed out some pages of my thesis today ( a part about theory.. Bourdieu - habitus - Panofsky etc.) and am going through it all to see how messed up my writing is. The thing is - I often write single paragraphs and try to attach them later.. sometimes it works and sometimes it’s just a mess.I also check if my choice of words is correct and right which is important with theoretical work. I never studied sociology so this is pretty hard for me. It takes me an hour to go through one page.. quite annoying but necessary.  -- source link
