I chose to do no weigh May to help myself get out of my own head. I was struggling with a weightloss plateau–mentally and physically. At the end of May, I decided to continue this experiment until near my birthday, which is July 9. I decided to focus on how my body felt more than just its ability to drop weight via a scale. In the past 2 months I wasn’t perfect–often having treat here and there. But I felt good. It was freeing to not have to worry about how my meals may affect the ever changing number on the scale the next morning. Today I decided to check on my progress. In the last 2 months, I not only was able to maintain, but I actually lost the stubborn few pounds I tried the last 3 months to lose. Definitely learned that fat loss isn’t always physical–sometimes you have to get out of your own head and focus on your life rather than an object.
