Iiiits day 13 of #mythober : Urd’s Well ⛲️ I realize now that everyone has already done this prompt 13 days ago that it wasn’t so much the well at the foot yggdrasil that I wanted to represent as the three Norns that guard it ( woops) The Norns are female beings who rule the destiny of gods and men. Urd’s well is tended by 3 of them. The Norn Urðr, The Past, the second Verdandi, the present, and the third Skuld, the future. They know everything there is to know and they speak with the same words. Which is why I represent them in kind of the three faces of the same being and the tree Yggdrasil (the tree that holds up the worlds) as their body.
