Lance has always wanted to use magic and has been an alchemist-in-training for years, but he is nowhere close to where he should be skill wise. He overhears a conversation between King Alfor and his mentor, Master Barok, and everything he has been thinking about himself is finally said out loud… Oh god I want to give him a hug.
